Lidars and Handicap

Description

alt textThe group develops optronic sensors for the visually impaired. It is at the origin of the different electronic canes currently used by the visually impaired: Tom Pouce I, Tom Pouce II, Tom Pouce III.
These sensors have the particularity of being able to detect stealthy obstacles such as thin black anti-static poles in all weather conditions, with a very small footprint and very low energy consumption. The number of blind users of the electronic canes resulting from the laboratory is higher than the number of guide dog users in France.
We work on the various supports of mobility: canes, walkers, electric wheelchairs
